Sample Tests

Below, one can find samples of the tests used in this course over the last two years: midterm tests, endterm tests, and exams. To facilitate the reader, we present two versions of the same test in a Pluto notebook: static and active.

The static notebooks are HTML versions of the tests. They can be opened simply by clicking on the link below or their names if you have saved them on your computer. Once they are opened, we can see their contents on a browser (Chrome, Mozilla, Edge, or any other) and navigate in the HTML file, but we can not produce any change to these notebooks. For this reason, static notebooks can not be used in classes or tests; they are used only for visualization.

The active notebooks are those that we can change, and for that reason, are the ones used in classes and tests. They can be downloaded by clicking on the link below, and they should be saved in a folder of your choice before we run them. Notice that we can not run the active notebooks by double-clicking on their icons or names; they can only be opened through the Pluto window. So, we have to start Julia and then run Pluto to have these notebooks running on our computer. See the instructions on how to open an active notebook here.
