Previous Tests

Below are tests from the previous two years: midterm tests, end-of-term tests, and exams. To facilitate the reader, we present two versions of the same test in a Pluto notebook: static and active.

The static notebooks are HTML versions of the tests. They can be opened by clicking the link below or by double-clicking their names if you have saved them on your computer. Once they are opened, we can view their contents in a browser (Mozilla, Chrome, Safari, or any other) and navigate through the HTML file, copy the code used in the notebooks, but we cannot make any changes to these notebooks. For this reason, static notebooks can not be used in classes or tests; they are used only for immediate visualization.

The active notebooks are the ones we can change and, for that reason, are the ones used in classes and tests. They can be downloaded by clicking the link below and saved in a folder of your choice before we run them. Notice that we cannot run the active notebooks by double-clicking their icons or names; they can only be opened through the Pluto window. So, we have to start Julia and then run Pluto to have these notebooks running on our computer. See the instructions for opening an active notebook here.
